As a musician who began my training in a public school music program, I believe music lessons should be accessible to everyone. I offer sliding scale prices and am flexible with location and times.
I believe in creating a supportive and engaging environment within my private studio. As a cellist with experience in classical music as well as rock, pop, and musical theater, I encourage my students to follow their own musical tastes and interests. I pair the music that inspires them with scales, technique building exercises, and music theory.
I believe that music is an incredible tool through which to explore creativity, learn self discipline, and enjoy the rewards that come from hard work and dedication!
I studied cello pedagogy under Marion Feldman and I maintain a private studio alongside teaching with Youth Orchestra of St. Luke's, the Washington Heights Community Conservatory, and coaching the Hunter College Symphony.
